We were very fortunate
to get one of the rooms with a view in the Hotel De’Lanzi,
but even our friends who got a room without that luxury didn’t
have any complaints during their stay. The staff were
very pleasant and helpful and spoke good English.
The breakfast was good, and as well as the usual continental
stuff gave us hams and cheeses. They looked after our laundry,
and even being able to rent a car from reception made it easier
when we moved on from Florence after our stay. Competitively
priced, clean and very pleasant, waking up in the
morning to a view of the Piazza Repubblica is something I
will never forget.

Just five minutes walk from the station.
Staff were very friendly and courteous. Hotel
better than expected, rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast
is fairly extensive with meats and cheeses, croissants, yoghurt,
cereals hot and cold drinks. Good position as was close to
the station and all the sights of note. Would recommend and
use again next time in Florence.

Had a wonderful long weekend in Florence,
as picked up good deals on the room and flights to Pisa. As
it was low season (January), we got a good deal on
the room, so was surprised when we got there that
it was as nice as the brochure looked. The rooms were airy
and light, bathrooms were clean and modern. It was a bit cold
but Florence is not a big city, and the skies were clear,
so it was only at night you could fell it. Staff were
very nice and helped us to find almost everything
we wanted. Would recommend Florence to anyone, and would stay
at the Hotel De Lanzi again.

Really enjoyed the city, the galleries and
the food. Were recommended some excellent restaurants by the
staff who thankfully spoke English. The hotel was better than
the ones we had stayed in other stops in Italy. Very
clean and the rooms were quite big,
the breakfast was fresh and quite generous. It was easy to
book online, and we settled the bill in cash. Would stay there
again, and would love to see so more of Florence next time
we are in Europe.
